I couldn't help but enjoy the ride that a local man took me on in a local weekly newspaper. See Alastair Bland's terrific account of catching huge Humboldt squid off Cordell Banks, 20 miles off of the Bodega Coast. Not "too" far from Pt. Reyes, Tomales Bay, etc.
