While I do enjoy John Popper and Blues Traveler, Popper has had a history of acting strangely and displaying violent tendicies. Consider the Howard Stern radio show televised on the E Network a few years back when Popper brandished a huge rambo style knife in front of several staffers and Stern himself. Stern was kind of freaked out by Popper and called him on the knife stuff, but Popper blew it off as he was just kidding around and also talked about the right to bear arms. Skip to a few days ago when Popper and his manager were busted with speeding at 111 MPH and officers found a small amount of pot in the car, leading to an additional search. The additional search revealed a secret compartment containing four rifles, nine handguns,a switchblade knife, a Taser gun, night vision goggles, police siren, flashing police lights and a public address system. When the police asked Popper why he had the emergency police gear, he stated that he didn't want to be left behind in case of a natural disaster. Above is a photo of the cache.
