Here is an only in SF type of race. This is what Critical Mass should be like. Half flashmob, half Friday night skate down Union Street. This annual tradition of grown adults riding "Big Wheels" down SF's crookedest street, Lombard, makes the heart warm.
My days of charging down Terrace Ave. are a very distant memory, but I do remember being pretty rad at using the hand-brake to do a spin-out at 25 plus mph. No wonder I have all the scars I have.
