Koro

by Moss 4/28/12 According to mostly historical Asian and African legends a person can be afflicted with a "curse" that causes one's genitals to disappear or shrink. Wikapedia refers to "Koro" as a culture-specific syndrome from Southeast Asia in which the person has an overpowering belief that his penis (or other genitalia) is shrinking and will shortly disappear. In some cultures, the person who accuses another person of the "curse" will be surrounded by bystanders and lynched. The lynching happens to innocent civilians, who have no chance to "prove" their innocence.
