Sam Adato's Drum Shop on 9th and Harrison in SF got completely plowed into by a Brown Ford Explorer around 11 AM yesterday. Sam has been a friend / associate of mine for years now. I've bought and sold many drums, sticks and skins from him over the years (including selling my PRIZE kit from my youth - a 1968 Ludwig Orange Mod 5 piece - and a 5 piece green Yamaha Stage Custom kit). Sam is a good guy and I hope he returns soon!!
