Paul Addis Dead...The Guy Who Burned Burning Man

Moss has written a few blog posts about Paul Addis before, so Moss was not entirely shocked when he read earlier this week that the guy who got busted torching the Burning Man effigy back in 2007 commited suicide last Saturday by jumping in front of a BART train at the Embarcadero station, right near the SF waterfront. Frankly, Moss is surprised that Addis did not jump from "The Bridge".

Addis, who was frequently written about, apparently displayed/performed many bizzare feats. He was even rumored to have attended Burning Man again, after serving prison time for the arson. Click here to read my post about the original torching back in August 2007.

Burning Man turned into Bummer Man this year as thousands fled Black Rock City on Saturday, before the man burned! It turns out one hellacious of a wind-clay-sand storm hit the area Saturday morning, coating everything in its path with a thick, brown-grey substance. Can't wait for the man to burn in 2009, can ya?
