SF Sketchfest 2014

Had a great time checking out some of the SF Sketchfest shows this year. This was my first time attending any of the shows, but it is in it's 13th year. The three shows I checked (Superego Podcast, Never Not Funny and The Jim Show) were hilarious and inspiring. Can't wait until next year!!

Moss with Andy Richter (Conan O'Brien)
Moss with Thomas Lennon (Reno 911 / The State)

Moss with James Urbaniak (The Venture Bros. / Character Actor)

Moss with Cole Stratton (Co-Founder / SF Sketchfest)

Moss with Jimmy Pardo (Never Not Funny Podcast)

Moss with Todd Glass (Comedian)

Moss with Mike Bordin

Who is Mike Bordin? Only, one of the greatest drummers of our generation. Bordin has played with Faith No More, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) and Korn. Moss had a "secret" conversation about a new possible band Bordin might tour with. I can't tell you who it is....but I can tell you they are huge. To read a killer article in Drum Magazine about Bordin all you have to do is click here.

Moss with Robin Williams

The photo of Moss with Robin Williams was taken last weekend (9/18/11) at Comedy Day in San Francisco. The other was taken last weekend at Ocean Beach, SF, CA.

Here is one from the archives...Moss with Ranking Roger circa 1985. Taken in Japantown, San Francisco, CA before General Public played the now-defunct Kabuki Theater.
Moss with Ranking Roger (General Public, English Beat) - 1985

1/2 Moss with Ralph Carney

by Moss
7/25/11

The weekend before last I caught the legendary English Beat at Stern Grove.
It was a blast. The weather held up and everything was perfecto. The sound could have been a little louder and it really wasn't the original Beat, but hey...the did play "Tendernesss" by General Public too...so no real complaints. On my way home I stopped by the Riptide out in the sunset and caught a little bit of Ralph Carney's band called The Cottontails. Carney is known mostly for playing with Tom Waits! Talked with the drummer, Randy Odell, for a while...who shredded and had to take a photo with Ralph on my way out. What you get is one half a Moss with the full Carney.
